How did all of this begin?
I was eight years old when I saw the TV commercial for Tomb Raider III, and I remember asking my mom if we could please go to the video rental store to rent it.
Searching through the shelves, I saw her - the female version of Indiana Jones I had been looking for: Lara Croft. There she was, with her dual pistols and her sexy outfit, against an Egyptian background.
It was actually the Tomb Raider I.
We got home so excited and put the game into my brand-new PlayStation 1 (do you still remember the sound at the beginning? I do).
After the epic cinematic in the Peruvian mountains, I saw that scary, dark cave - not to mention hearing the soundtrack - and I passed my controller to my mom ipso facto.
I used to guide my mom telling her which buttons to press, when, I wasn't screaming because a mummy jumped out at Lara, a lion was running towards us, or because she was running out of oxygen...
Don’t get me wrong, it probably explains why I need therapy today, but we truly had a blast...😂

Fast forward to today:
When I'm not wearing my gun belt, bazooka, MP5, or shotgun, I turn into Sandra Memma - a camera operator based in Spain (or wherever duty calls), working on broadcast gigs.
